From Least to Most absorbent, here is the extensive range of Scarlet Eve cloth pads…
Makeup: Made with just 2 layers of fabric and 1 thin layer of bamboo or hemp for absorbency, these pads are strictly for mid-cycle use. The top layer is usually flannel and the bottom layer is usually either cotton or corduroy.
Measurements: 19cm long, 7cm snapped width.
Use: They are ultra-thin and unobtrusive, with uses including absorbing your regular discharge, your ovulation fertile mucus and to protect your underwear after sex.
Makeup: Upper fabric is variable, including flannel, cotton, fleece; bottom fabric is usually cotton, corduroy, or fleece. Inside, there are 2 layers of bamboo fleece sewn in with impressive absorbency. These pads contain no PUL for waterproofing.
Measurements: 25cm long and 7cm snapped width.
Use: Just Light pads are great for light flow days, cup backup, and ‘just in case’. They can be used as a liner for heavy ovulation discharge or as post-coital underwear protection. They are really flexible and are my current favourite!
Makeup: Upper fabric can be flannel, cotton, velour, minky or fleece. The backing is waterproof PUL. There are 2 layers of thick bamboo fleece sewn in.
Measurements: 20cm long and 7cm snapped width.
Use: Curvy Mini pads are absorbent enough for some women throughout their period. I know of other pads marketed for regular or moderate flow, and upon reading the makeup of the pad, are just like these Curvy Mini pads from Scarlet Eve. Saying that, I still consider them suitable for lighter flow, including cup backup and on those ‘just in case’ days.

Measurements: Approximately 30 cm in length and 7cm snapped width.
Use: Curvy Tall pas are absorbent enough for some women throughout their period. They are suitable for light to moderate blood flow with extra long coverage.
Makeup: Upper fabric can be flannel, cotton, velour, minky or fleece. The backing is waterproof PUL. There are 3 layers of bamboo fleece overlocked together inside, with an open end where the bamboo padding can flip-out for more thorough washing and faster drying. The bamboo padding is sewn in at the open end only (so that it doesn’t get separated in the wash).
Measurements: 19cm long and 7cm snapped width.
Use: New Woman pads are possibly self-explanatory in their name. I designed these for smaller build women, and young girls just starting their bleed cycles. They are very absorbent for their size, so are suitable for a light to moderate flow.

Use: Regular pads are also probably self-explanatory in their name. These are for regular or moderate flow. The makeup of these pads seem to equal that of other makers’ night time or heavy flow pads, but to me, they will always be Regular. This was my first real design, and I’m very proud of it They simply work!

The bamboo padding is sewn in at the open end only (so that it doesn’t get separated in the wash), and is DOUBLED OVER on itself, and snapped together at the top. This makes for a total of 4 layers of amazing absorbency, without the increased drying time.
Measurements: 30cm long and 9cm snapped width.
Use: These pads were designed for heavy bleeders, for night time, and for postpartum use. They are highly absorbent and flared at the back for great coverage. Because of the open end, ice packs can be inserted into the pad for relief from perineal pain and trauma, or haemorrhoids.
